Dr. Bohae Kang, DVM, MS

Dr. Kang brings over a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, along with a Master’s degree in Immunology. She plays a key role in providing thorough, thoughtful care and is experienced in a wide range of soft tissue surgeries. She is known for her strong medical knowledge, attention to detail, and clear communication with clients, helping ensure they feel informed and confident in their pet’s care.

Dr. Cho, DVM

Dr. Cho brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to patient care, with a strong focus on accuracy and thorough evaluations. He is experienced in advanced soft tissue surgeries and works closely with each case to ensure high-quality outcomes. He is also highly tech-savvy and has contributed to improving clinic operations by developing a digital anesthesia monitoring system and creating a custom app used for hospital notes. His innovative mindset, combined with his medical knowledge, allows him to provide both efficient and forward-thinking care.

Dr. Han, DVM

Dr. Han is our orthopedic surgeon who joins us for scheduled procedures, bringing advanced surgical expertise to more complex cases. He has extensive experience in both orthopedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries, including TPLO, fracture repair, TECA procedures, foreign body surgeries, and elongated soft palate corrections. In addition to surgery, he is highly skilled in diagnostics such as echocardiograms, ultrasounds, and endoscopy, and laproscopy allowing him to take a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to each case. Dr. Han is known for his precision, efficiency, and ability to confidently manage complex surgical cases, providing a high level of specialized care when it is needed most.

Mariana - Practice Manager

Mariana has been part of Villa Park Animal Clinic for five years and currently serves as Practice Manager. She started as Lead Receptionist and has supported both reception and treatment, giving her a strong understanding of the clinic as a whole. Her goal is to make every visit feel as smooth and stress-free as possible for both pets and their owners. She takes pride in supporting her team and creating an environment where both staff and clients feel taken care of.

Victoria - Lead Veterinary Technician

Victoria has been with Villa Park Animal Clinic for five years and has nine years of experience in the veterinary field. She plays an important role in patient care, especially with surgery and more critical cases. She has a strong understanding of medicine and communicates clearly with both the team and clients, helping ensure everything runs smoothly. She’s also the one behind the exam room whiteboards—a detail many clients recognize and enjoy.
Outside of work, Victoria has a Boston Terrier named Mona—and three lizards.yes, three 

Lucy - Veterinary Assistant

Lucy has been part of Villa Park Animal Clinic for a little over three years and plays an important role in supporting both patient care and daily operations. As a veterinary assistant, she helps ensure appointments and treatments run smoothly while supporting the medical team throughout the day. She is especially strong in client communication, helping clients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease during their visit. Lucy is also known for bringing great energy to the team and helping maintain a positive, balanced environment. She has built strong connections with many of our clients and is a familiar, trusted face to both pets and their owners.
At home, Lucy has a dog named Abby, who keeps her just as busy outside of the clinic

Kaylee - Reception Lead / Veterinary Assistant

Kaylee has been part of Villa Park Animal Clinic for five years and plays a key role in both reception and patient care. As Reception Lead, she helps ensure the front of the clinic runs at a high standard, supporting both clients and the team with consistency and attention to detail. She has also stepped into a veterinary assistant role, allowing her to work more closely with patients and the medical team. Kaylee is a longtime client favorite, known for creating a smooth, personalized experience and bringing a strong sense of familiarity and trust to each visit.
At home, Kaylee has two cats of her own—so she understands the level of care and attention our clients expect for their pets.

Maram- Receptionist

Maram is our main receptionist and has been part of Villa Park Animal Clinic for two years. She is the first point of contact for our clients and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and organized experience from the moment you walk through the door. She’s a favorite among our clients for her positive energy and the way she remembers both clients and their pets—often greeting them by name as soon as they arrive.
At home, Maram has four cats of her own—so she definitely understands life with a full house of pets.

Maria - Kennel Attendant

Maria has been part of Villa Park Animal Clinic for almost two years and plays an important role in the care of our boarding pets and bathing services. She ensures that each pet staying with us is comfortable, safe, and well cared for during their time at the clinic. She is known for her bubbly personality and the level of care she shows to every patient. Clients especially appreciate the attention and reassurance she provides when their pets are staying with us, helping them feel confident and at ease while they are away.
At home, Maria has a cat of her own and brings that same level of care and attentiveness to every pet she looks after.

Olivia - Receptionist / Kennel Attendant

Olivia is part of the Villa Park Animal Clinic team and supports both reception and kennel care. She helps create a welcoming experience for clients while also assisting with the care of our boarding pets. She is known for her calm, friendly presence and the way she helps both clients and patients feel comfortable. Olivia brings a positive and supportive energy to the team and helps ensure each visit runs smoothly.

Azucena - Receptionist / Kennel Attendant

Suzy is part of the Villa Park Animal Clinic team and supports both reception and kennel care, with a strong focus in the kennel department. She plays an important role in maintaining organization and ensuring our boarding pets are cared for in a structured, attentive environment. She is known for her welcoming nature, attention to detail, and ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Suzy’s consistency and care help create a comfortable and well-managed experience for both patients and the team.
Outside of the clinic, Suzy has a pet pig—so she definitely brings a unique perspective to caring for animals of all kinds. 

Michelle - Veterinary Assistant

Michelle is a newer member of the Villa Park Animal Clinic team and has already shown strong growth within her role. As a veterinary assistant, she supports patient care and helps ensure treatments and appointments run smoothly throughout the day. She is known for her positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the way she continues to build confidence in her role. Michelle brings a supportive and friendly presence to the clinic and is quickly becoming a valued part of the team.

Isabelle - Veterinary Assistant

Isabelle is a newer member of the Villa Park Animal Clinic team and has quickly stood out for her strong work ethic and dedication to learning. As a veterinary assistant, she supports patient care and is always looking for ways to be helpful throughout the day. She is known for her initiative, consistently seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and improve her skills. Isabelle brings a motivated and supportive presence to the team and is committed to continuing her growth within the clinic.
